Sharks are running a promo for this weeks game against the Rabbitohs.

Any kids aged 16yrs of age and under wearing either a Sharks jersey or Rabbitohs jersey are entitled to free entry. They must be prepared to show ID displaying their DOB at the turnstiles (unless they are really little).

Great idea IMO, should get a few families involved.

It's a very good idea. Would have worked better if it was a day game. Alot of familes second guess going to night games as the Family Hill gets damp & cold. But still top idea.

I think most clubs should adapt a Fan Appreciation Day. Giveaway something at the gates or cheaper entry, one game a year... ahh i supsose they give us the Mermaids, so that's fair enough, lol.

They're not required to get in for free either.

just saying that other than a passport, there is no legal document for those under 16 that includes a photo of themselves. i dont really think that kids will be taking their passports to the game :D

CRONULLA is the latest club to introduce an initiative which will boost the club's sagging crowd figures.

All kids under 16 years old who wear a Sharks or Souths jumper to Saturday night's match at Toyota Stadium will gain free entry.

The match will give Cronulla a chance to further press claims for a top-two finish but a loss could jeopardise their top-four aspirations.

"We are only too happy to reward the young fans showing off their club jerseys with free admission this weekend," Sharks CEO Tony Zappia said.

"Plus, if they come along on Saturday wearing a Sharks or Souths jersey, it will certainly add to the colour and atmosphere of what should be an excellent game and a big night."

Cronulla have experienced a stellar season, including a gripping 13-12 win over St George Illawarra last Saturday night at Toyota Stadium.

The Sharks have scored the least amount of tries in the entire NRL - yet they keep winning.

Souths showed enormous grit and determination to hold on and narrowly beat the Warriors last Saturday night at Homebush.
