I don't blame anyone for wanting another outside back after the realisation we will be playing Gordon at fullback, which leaves Beau Ryan, Ben Pomeroy, Jono Wright and (hopefully) Stewart Mills as the rest of the backline. All four of those players are decent on their good days but all four are also capable of having poor seasons. If all four have a poor season at the same time god help us.

Wayne Bennet is probably the perfect coach for him, I agree he is better than most in our backline but I don't know if he's the right fit for us at this time, if he pulled his head in he could/will be a rep player, jUst not sure he will or is ready/mature enough at the moment.

I'd be pissed off if the knights managed to sign BJ aswell. That'd mean he and gagai, two of the brightest young prospects in our weakest position have gone to a team with a surplus of first grade quality backs.
