But he would still be quite a good winger.

Holmes at the back with him and Feki on the wing immensely improves our backline.

i would love us to go even more mainstream, upgrade holmes and run this out

gards
holmes
leutele
feki
gordon
carney
robbo/marshall

points ****in everywhere in that backline

Yeah thats massive.

Defence is strong in Ricky and Feki. Sheer pace all over the park and smart football players.

All players have good hands as well besides Gards (even though he isn't as bad with his errors as people make him out to be) and im unsure as to how good Holmes is with his handling as i haven't seen enough to comment.

Have to agree that is a hot backline. And with the exception of Benji, very doable. But has Gards signed with the Bulldogs? That rumour keeps getting thrown up.

He didn't contest 3 bombs and they were catchable. He is slower then he was last year. He isn't backing up the play (his one true strong point) and he is rubbish at ball playing.

The speed I do not think is coming back but if everything else in his game was good it would be ok but we need more from a fullback then a kick returning the game has changed too much and we don't have the backs to allow Flash to just be that.

Gards has many errors and brain farts in his game, but if we fix our attack and start scoring points then a drop ball or two a game is an acceptable risk for mind.

I'll have to look at the replay again to see the other two bombs. I don't remember them at all.
It's sad that everyone has this feeling about Flash now. It wasn't that long ago that everyone was so full of praise for him.

I think he's always had a bit of jitters about catching those high mid field style bombs. It's just gone a bit unnoticed on here because he's not Gardner.

It is sad because last year he was good but its time the club was ruthless. Can't keep waiting for him to come good when you have a gun in the 20's and a semi-gun in NSW Cup breathing down his neck.

I am hoping to see Gards again at some stage this year, hopefully he gets given a run on the wing or at fullback- is he still injured?

Hoping to see this Holmes get a run around too. Seems like one of those players that would hit superstar status within the year at a club like the Storm.

I hope Gardner never again plays first grade with us, a complete liability!

It seems to me that at least Gardner is always giving it a go, probably gunna be stuck in NSW cup for the long run. That being said I do enjoy watching him play.

I thought his warm up really inspired the boys to victory today

Haha I love our faces when we watched the warm up, about 1 minute before the boys when back I to the sheds the ground announcer say on the mike "Blake ayshford to the sheds immediately - repeats it about 3 - 4 times). Our hearts sunk at that moment knowing ayshford was in.

haha it was the best seeing that unfold. On here everyone was cheering ayshford wasnt playing, then all of a sudden, disaster struck. At least it wasnt Feki or Leutele out, Ayshford in
