This is worst case no more signings. And its already a better and faster backline!

Add the possibility of Jennings, Sau or whoever we conjur up its better!

That's the backline i'd like to see if we don't sign any more backs, and good depth with Mills, Matty Wright or Stapo to come in if there's injuries or loss of form.

Solid signing. Compare our signings for this year to 2009's signings. We have Luke Lewis, Michael Gordon and a young back whose still has room to improve. Positive outlook :)

We've got a good team building , very proud of what the team management has done.

Big strides. Just not that elusive. He will be solid on the wing for us. Not convinced he is a first grade centre.

Well done Sharkies. Tele said Flanno was also talking to Bryson Goodwin. I'm really happy to get Wright. The second wing spot could become one of the most contested positions in the NRL lol

gee someone is worried a certain winger won't see first grade again :p haha

Mate I will happily let stapo see reserve grade if we have quality to replace him, I'm not blinded to making the team better like you with the Pom ya bastard :p

But honestly stapo is the only thing putting speed in our backline, but I'm not gonna start this debate again.

If you look back you will see I haven't rated wright since day dot, ever since he debuted for parra I thought he was a hack. He is slow, lethargic and a poor mans pommeroy and we will see him dropped before seasons end

Jake friend nearly ran him down lol

absolutely, and Friend ain't that quick.

For mine I would like to see the following positions locked down.

1) Gordon
2)
3) Poms
4)
5) Wright.

Could deal with 2 & 4 being Stapo and Leutele(or M Wright?), but obviously any upgrades would be nice.

If he was dropped we could soon form a NSW cup team entirely out of wingers.

I've got Jon wright in at halfback

If we can have a good mix of speed, strength and skill we will be sweet, but we can't have two pommeroy type players then Matty wright who is an average winger (lack of acceleration and takes an age to hit top speed) but id rather him over jon wright and unskillful players is just too hard to win games.

A balance of pace, brute strength and skillful players would be great

1. Gards / Gordon
2. Gordon / M. Wright
3. Pom
4. Ricky
5. Stapo

You've got speed and the x factor in gards and speed and strength in stapo and you've got that brute strength and power in pommeroy and skill and elusiveness with Ricky who is no slouch in the pace department and then you got safety and the ability for Gordon to jump in anywhere along with goal kicking.

I'd be happy with that

Quality pickup, has been a try scorer ever since his parra days.

Was a massive fan then of him at centre, he hasn't really kicked on as a centre but I am a fan of his as a winger. He'll do the job at centre but I would rather see leutele or matty wright play centre before him.

I find it to hard to put any faith in stapo he is always injured and I don't him. Jono Wright has a good chance of playing/winning a grand final and will only be a better player because of it.

he cant be to bad, is playing NRL level in the cometitions leading team and has been playing good footy. I think he will be a good signing for the Sharks and the best part is will be cheap.
