Don't really want him. I don't know why, but my lasting impression of him was a game where he utterly failed several easy attempts to win a game through a field goal, and I don't rate him at all as a half, but I don't really recall his centre work. If it's any good I guess it wouldn't hurt to sign him up, if on a cheap contract.

i didn't watch the whole thing but what i saw was impressive enough. seems good on his feet, can find the line, good with the ball in hand, good offloads, fairly evasive, couple of well executed tackles. not the best center in the world but probably a step up on some of our center options, more than just a depth guy.

Yeah agreed. Bit of a Dane Gagai esque with the way he likes to suck in his defender and set up his winger. We need that. Also has a smart footy brain. Not an incredible talent, but probably better then what we have.
I could really see Gordon and Moon having a good partnership and complimenting each others playing style.
Nrl will be a tougher level, but he will be playing with quality players also.

Far out he has an offload in him! I would like to know if he just offloads pretty much every play willy nilly or picks the right time to offload

He has good acceleration, his defense was ok always tackling low but, his offloads are impressive but I don't see any of our current wingers catching them!

Moon was never going to be a five-eighth at NRL level, despite how much he wanted to be.

I think he's a lock forward really, but centre suits is his next best option.

He's not the answer for us. I doubt it happens.

Lol at that highlight package. I thought I was going to watch something impressive.

do you think any (apart from the mighty Pom) of our options for next year could produce a highlights package of that quality?

you're one of those guys who nothing is ever good enough for aren't you

No not at all. I'm not like that. I just didn't see anything in there that your average nrl centre shouldn't be doing. How about a highlights package from his playing days here in the nrl. Bet that wouldn't be as impressive.

I just don't see what he could bring that Pom or Ricky couldn't. But we always need depth

I agree S1, IMO he would be a depth buy. If we sign him as that I'm very happy for it to happen as he can slot into a few places and two of those areas we lack depth in (centre and 5/8)

Actually, going from memory, Moon would have a couple highlights whilst he was a center in the NRL.

However, it was his horrid 5/8 performances that he is remembered for.

i don't see any benefit in posting footage from too far in the past. it'd be akin to watching a Pomeroy '09 clip vs a Pomeroy 2012 clip. all that matters is what's happening now. to me he may be more than depth, he seems to have a confidence that Ricky doesn't, though i'm all for Ricky, i hope he makes the most of his ****
