Promising Sharks forward Jesse Colquhoun is set to be sidelined for an extended period after suffering a foot injury in last Friday's trial against the Bulldogs.

Borderline season-ending

If it's 5 months out he's going to need at least 3-4 weeks in NSW Cup to get some minutes in to him, and that takes him to the end of the season. He might be able to contribute for the Jets in the finals but unless he's back before round 20 I can't see him playing much part of the Sharks NRL campaign this season.

Sucks for him.
