You'd think Capewell on the bench. Leutele to the wing if we cop an injury during a game. Gagan would be a good backup winger re-signing if we lose Beale. We have a lot of centres and very few wingers. A medium to long term injury to either winger or Barba would be tough to cover using only the players currently under contract (minus Beale).

Anyone in the wings (**** it, I'm owning that terrible pun) in the lower grades? We have Val for emergency fullback (and Bird i suppose) but actuarial depth would be useful.

Val is better than just an emergency fullback I would have thought.

I'm pretty sure you know what I'm saying Mr Smarty Pants. Who could come through if Barba or Feki had career ending injuries?
(And let's face it, it could happen to Feki just about any game now, the poor banged up bugger).

Haha no wasn't being smart, seriously thought you weren't rating Val as a viable option at FB.

You'd think we'll get some depth guys in. Mitch Brown was the depth option this season. Now that he is gone, and especially if Beale goes, we would need to either hold on to Gagan or bring in someone similar to Brown.

I don't know of any young wingers coming through NYC etc. who would be considered ready to go.

you mean Bessie Aufaga-Toomaga? From the Dragons I think, goes OK but not sure he's going to make the step up. Not sure if he was injured or just not in the coaches plans but he seemed to come in and out of the team a bit.

Hehe just ribbin ya :)

Was more worried about how the reshuffle would affect our current depth. Sound like we're a bit thin on for wingers/fullbacks in the juniors.

josh tuialagi plays on the right as well. Hopefully he keeps progressing because he could very well take vals spot on the wing when he moves to fullback.
