Yep - he's playing 5/8 for the Burleigh A Grade team (below the Q Cup). Jesse Savage is in the same team. They only played their first comp game last week because most sports on the GC had a delayed start due to the Commonwealth games.
I follow the Burleigh Bears pretty closely - I'd say Rogers is unlikely to get a call up this year. Savage has an outside shot but it would take a few injuries as they have the best back row in the comp.
Former Shark Dane Weston is playing in the same league.

I actually watched Jack Rogers play yesterday. The Burleigh A Grade game was played after the Q Cup game so we stuck around for a bit. He goes OK without being outstanding. The 7 was doing all of the talking and kicking and Rogers was more of a running option for his edge or for the sweep play to the other side. He actually scored a pretty good try right in front of me early on but the ref didn't give it to him. I'd still say that he is a fair way down the depth chart.
