Knights keen on De Gois

Just read that the Knights are interested in Isaac de Gois as a replacement for Buderus next year. The Sharks better get cracking if they want to keep him.

In my opinion, de Gois and Seymour should both be priority re-signings - I only hope there is enough money to go round under the salary cap.

ben ross can get a little less and we'll be sweet, but if worse comes to worse we can cheat the cap, ala roosters.

I think knights would have more money to offer him aswell. If we were to lose De Gois we should def sign Terence Seu Seu and look at signing Stuart Flanagan.

In RLW today, Ricky is so impressed with TSS that he's looking to fast track him into firsts. I'm not sure whether it would be at the expense of Degwah or Kinga. Either way, it may put Degwah in two minds and make the Knights offer worth considering.

I haven't seen much of TSS, but I know Degwah is having one of his quieter years......so far.

Isaac has been one of our best players so far this season! So it says a lot for his abilities that he is considered by some to be having a "quiet" or "average" season by his standards. I haven't seen a lot of Seu Seu, but he would have to be a damn good no. 9 to be even considered as a potential replacement should Isaac leave the club.

Seymour is a must in my book. If we don't sign him I will be quite upset.

Knights hope Ennis returns to their table

The Australian

HE ripped them apart at the weekend and now Newcastle wants to rip Michael Ennis away from Brisbane and bring him back to the city where he made his name as a footballer.

Knights officials are believed to have contacted Ennis's manager yesterday, the first step towards convincing him to return to Newcastle.

Ennis, who made his first-grade debut with the Knights in 2003 and spent two years at the club, was a Newcastle junior.

Last Sunday he was man of the match as Brisbane swamped the Knights 34-22.

Newcastle is scouring the market for a hooker following Danny Buderus's decision to head to English club Leeds next season.

The Knights are also interested in Cronulla hooker Isaac de Gois.
Ennis, though, has emerged as the priority. He is off contract at the end of the year and among a host of Broncos players being targeted by other clubs.
