After what smith has done up there it wouldnt surprise me if he wanted out .If we could find the money for the big heap (willie) what do you think about getting bedds. I think he would be a great buy,how good would he be with our pack and how much pressure would he take off the half who ever that will be.

Doesn't really matter, We have De Gois, and he is just blooming. He is the next big thing.

Dont want to start a blue peach but you didnt say in an other thread get pj marsh :) I would much rather have the second best hooker in the comp than pj.Everybody says you need good 1 ,7 and 9. Kearney, noddy and bedds would be clever.

I think Buderus will stay st Newy till his contract is up, the possibly go to England to earn some good money.

Also, Hull just sacked Hutch Maiava and picked up Peter Cusack. I wonder if Hutch will come back and play in the NRL?

Buderus is still decent at club level. He's a leader with creativity and a great work ethic, but I wouldn't sign him. He's coming to the end of his career and would demand too high a price. If we were desperate for a good solid 9 to get us through a couple years, for sure, but thing is we're not. If De Gois continues where he left off, he'll enforce the fact the 9 jersey is his own. Add to that the depth of players able to fill that roll your looking at Seymour, Green, Kearney and at the risk of this thread getting entirely off track and some dead horses copping a flogging, Kevin Kingston can also throw his hat into the ring.

I'd sign Robbie Farah in a heartbeat too.

i think we are going alright in the hooker stakes as we are. i cant forget that try de gois scored against the dogs( 70 metres in all), and i couldn't see buderus doing that.

Buderus is still a great player but as others have mentioned we are currently pretty well served in the hooking stakes. Speaking of Buderus, I have just come back from a few weeks in Europe and he must be pretty big over there because his name is everywhere you look, on the side of vehicles, in newspapers and on billboards (well actually Buderus is one of the leading heating/ventilation companies over there :D )

I've got a great one liner response to this, but none of you have heard "It's a Happy Day", so it's not really a great one liner at all.

Since Rep Power is all the rage these days, and post counts are so five minutes ago, what do you lot reckon this post deserves?

Something big would have to go down for that to happen, Bedsy is there anchor, without him, they wouldn't have won half of the games they did this year, and we all know how they ended the season.
