And they had free range from any player in the comp, who would you pick. There are only two players that come to mind for me. And they are Greg Inglis and Johnathon Thurston.

Both players would make our club a great team and a very good attacking team. But if i had to choose just one player it would be Thurston. He would make our young outside backs a lot better especially with them now getting the help of ET.

Who would you pick?

Out of thurston and inglis. I would say Thurston only just as he is a great star of the game and is only geting better as he gets older.

If i could get any player it would be Greg Bird to come back. (not going to happen)

You would really want Birdy over thurston. I mean i loved Bird and he was my favourite player for the sharks and i was absolutley devastated when he was kicked out. But you would really want him more than thurston?

Theres a difference between being a good player who has no heart and only plays for the money and a player like greg who played for the club he loved with so much passion and enthusiasm.

I see your point ROB. Bird played for the Sharks with great heart, something that is very rare in todays game.

For me it would be most definately greg bird also.

He wanted to play for the shire only because he wanted to be a shark and win our first comp here.

Justin poore is considering coming here for one reason and one reason only $$

Greg Inglis- The best type of that style of player i have EVER SEEN(particularly when at the game). Thought Peachey had it all but Inglis is better!

Greg inglis is on his way to being one of the greatest players in history, he has size, speed and skill there is no better rugby league player in the world atm, he could fetch 1 mill a season easily......and he is worth every cent of it !!!!

Scott Prince without a doubt.

Billy Slater a distant second.

Don't want Thurston.

Absolutely Marky B, you got in just before me. I would take Scott Prince over any other player in the game. He is consistent and basically runs his teams with an iron fist, totally professional and a great leader, unlike Thurston!

Exactly. He's the perfect captain, perfect head of a team with good interview skills, a genuine nice guy and a bit of a sense of humour to boot.

Thurston is good when he's on but what about when he's not? And also I don't want QLD's main choice in half back playing for the Sharks and then whenever origin is on you have to watch him playing against the blues.

I notice no one mentioned Benji Marshall. There should be a new entry in the dictionary – A Benji – meaning, inconsistent. Ha ha ha

I wouldn't pay 1 mill but 500k definitely but he would demand 600k

not kidding at all mate.

Im not denying hes quick, probably the best centre in the game, but I remember when he was 18, and 12 kilos or so lighter, he was bloody lighting fast! I think due to his bulkup he has lost a touch of pace in the last season or so.

well if you are right about that then it wouldn't be by much, I thought he was pretty quick against NSW.
