I do think we need the A league team (although I won't be sitting through any 90 minute nil all draws - soccer is not for me). We need the ground used and to provide us with a return.

We also need to be careful about borrowing money for big infrastructure projects because we MIGHT be getting an A league team. The A league could delay adding the team for three years, other bids could pop us etc. We only need to look at the league expansion landscape to see the pit falls. The bears died getting involved in building a stadium at Gosford.

To even think about stadium building we would need a unilateral decision from the A league to say we get a team and it would need to be iron clad. Hopefully the government would then come to the party.

Fed election is two years off LNP are going to need to buy votes again (whats new), time to go have a chat I think.

I'm liking what I'm reading.

Some very positive times ahead, a lot have the same feeling getting Shark Park back to fortress it once was. (atmosphere, entertainment etc etc).
