The reason why we lost on Saturday night is because I went. Its me I'm the problem. Everytime I go and watch them they lose. Been to two games this year, Titans and Panthers and two losses. Dont blame Covell or anyone else, blame me. My next game I will be attending is in round 10 against the Broncos, put your money on them now.

i feel your pain. the only games i get to see them play are away games which they always lose. havent seen them win away since the chargers back in the old days at cararra which i cant even remember. been to 2 toyota park games. seen them win both in 2003 and 1999. its so annoying because the one or two times i see them every yr. they play **** for me. i hate it

i used to think like this too, as a kid i thought evry game i watched on tv we lost, if i missed them i would see later on the news that the mighty sharks had got up.

there are many psycologically damaged young men running around who feel the same way due to the inconsistant performance's of our beloved sharkies.
try this...
lay down on a couch and tell yourself over and over.... its not me, its not me, its not my fault!
the pain gets easier as u grow older , then you begin to laugh hysterically at the end of the games and develop a nervous twitch for days afterwards, followed by nightsweats and waking up screaming "WHYYYYYYYYYY!"

i used to think i was cursed too........but last year went well for me. honeslty tho, it took me 2 years of goiing to sharks games before i saw us win. but u gotta stick with it....our team this year i think is strong enough to overcome any fan jinxes and the likes

I have a mate who is a Dragon's fan who loves bagging me about the Sharks and how we haven't won a premiership. He is in my footy tipping comp and he has a real problem in tipping the Sharks. He hates doing it and more often than not doesn't. Having said that, he has tipped the Sharks twice this year - have a guess which games!!!!! After we won the first two games against last years Grand Finalist he thought we could beat the Titans up there so he tipped them. When we lost he vowed, never again would he tip them. But after another two wins he thought at home, with Thommo's send-off they would win so he tipped them. They bloody lost!!!

I have now told him in no uncertain terms that he is now banned from tipping them again this year!!!
