Correct Fitz, I am so sick of hearing fellow Sharks fans bagging the club and stating they won't attend games until we start winning etc.
I also came across a fellow Sharks fan now stating that he is now going to support the Wests Tigers because he lives down in Campbelltown and is sick of paying for petrol to see us lose.
I was absolutely stunned to see that and very disappointed to see a fan think like that.
It proves that they aren't true Sharks fans.

What an idiot of a supporter....We travel all the way from Taree to cheer the Sharkies on, week in, week out. Even when they lose I don't consider it a waste of petrol.
Although winning would be even more enjoyable, with all the drama last year and the ever-present threat to our team continuing into the future, I have to say I am just grateful to be able to watch my team play in the competition.
just to let you know when i saw this site i was happy to talk to other sharks fans but i saw how negitive people were so i was a little put off i was hoping it was just because we were having a bad year . i hope the fans can be stronger and support the team no matter what we do not want to have to fight like souths did we dont want to get to that point our team needs us all

Not everyone is negative on here and actually, even the negative ones aren't too bad most of the time.
If you want to see negative, have a look at the 1Eyed Eel site after a loss and even sometimes after a win.Although there are only a few crazy ones over there,they are a bit extreme...One so-called Parra fan suggested that they wipe their bums with their jersey's and throw them at players after a few losses in a row, while others have wanted to boo their players to make them start performing.

The copout excuse was that his family are all Wests Tigers supporters and finds it easier to just join them.
My folks are Parra and Souths fans respectively but walking away and supporting those clubs is something I will never do.
I am and always will be a Shark for life.

I am a C'Town boy and consider the Tigers my second team (old magpies fan from way back). I actually went and watched the Tigers play the titans last week, as I live 5 mins walk from the stadium.
I do not get to much footy these days, that was my first match of the year. It is just not my thing anymore. Does that make me less of a fan? Maybe. But I still watch the Sharks every week.
It would also help if I had a friend to go with.
But I would never, ever turn my back on the Sharks. This may sound like a cliché, but I am a Sharks fan til I die.

If a person can just decide one day to switch to another team because it is more convenient for them, they really weren't a Sharks supporter in the first place...As all of you would know, it just isn't possible to abandon our Sharks, even though they can be the most frustrating team to support at times...
Other supporters always bag Sharks supporters or laugh at our lack of premierships but our true supporters are actually what supporters should be....loyal, never give up, stick with the team through thick and thin....

I live 9-10 hrs away from Sydney down in the Northern Rivers and I just cannot wait to see a Sharks home game even if we lose that game, I will always be a Sharks man till I die even if we never win a premiership before that
dont get me wrong not everyone is negitive and thats great it just seems like alot of people disagrees in the way the club should head. BUT DAMM im glad we are not like PARRA fans that is unreal

But this is the only forum I have been on where I haven't been bagged on.
As a member who came across from the Rleague forum where people consistently bag me all the time it is refreshing to come on here and talk to fellow Sharks supporters and not cop the snide remarks or jokes on Rleague.
