I had forgotten how good a lot of players were, particularly Rogers and Treister. Also just people like Martin Lang, we miss that "without fear" attitude.

I know these are highlights and there were pretty of average times around it too... but to me it shows there is no reason why we can't bring this winning feeling back. There is no reason why we should be stuck where we are, it's simply confidence.

Put this on loop on the Leagues Club TVs

have to agree there dj - it was a great day. what about luke stuart motoring downtown?! i think i was yelling something like "GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN" and totally lost it when he bashed in for the try.

fair dinks. peachey is one of my all time favs and that vid reminds me why. what a bloody athlete! there's running and there's running with grace; peach had it in spades. when will we see the likes of him again? makes inglis look like a wobbly trike. sheesh.

i will never forget that game, so many great moment, i was nearly in tears at fulltime, i guess having bulldogs supporters as your relatives, this one was good for years after, bring back the attacking freedom we had and the magic of peach and preston

Sharked, do you have more footage? Because if you do and have the time to put more of those together I think every Sharks fan would appreciate it. :hoping

I'm thinking of a sort of archive of every few years going back as far as we can... I mean, how good would it be if there were as many Sharks highlights vids as there are Dogz ones? Particularly if they were that sort of quality.

i just found a brisbane final that we won 22-6 with a paul mellor hat trick that i would've liked to include but o well!
other than that the ones in the vid are the only games i have on tape and those are sort of the best bits.
should have bloody taped more
its a shame because people seem to forget just how good we used to be!!

Amazing the skill and pace we displayed in those days. Good vid.

And you know what even back then we were considered somewhat of a "budget team". We didn't have all the big names on big salaries making up that team yet look and what we could do.

I really wanna see the game where we smashed Newy - the one where Joey says to the ref "we already 30 down and it isn't half time". Joey was over it already and couldn't believe the demolishin! It's the one where big Paul Mellor puts a couple fends on a would be tackler as he runs down the right wing. Always remember that part.

Was thinking. When it comes to recruiting a player, I wonder if targeted players are played anything like this great video and told "this is where we want to be again, and we believe we need you as a player to get us there" Surely that kind of footage will get most footy fans going
