Has ASADA dampened your Sharkies spirit?

Nothing will dampen my Sharkies spirit whilst there's a Sharkies to be spirited about.

I'm extremely angry about the outrageous and agenda-driven media onslaught against us, but that just makes me want to say F you & fight to the death.

CrazyMatt's post above pretty much summarises my mentality.

What has dampened is my support for the NRL in general - woeful refereeing, woeful management of the asada wankfest, woeful handling of the serious issues in the game...

No my Sharkie spirit hasn't been dampened, but I have needed to dig in a little deeper, I am frustrated at having to defend my chosen club to other supporters who only seem to believe in what they read or hear from articles that are unconfirmed. I now no longer bother to read the telegraph when its available and I am growing more of a dislike of other clubs due to the way other supporters have turned on us.

I will always support our club and no other, so without a Cronulla Sutherland Sharks I would no longer have a NRL team to follow and my support for rugby league in general would also be questioned.

Nup, I couldn't give a **** what others think or what gets printed. Whatever happened, happened. Can't change it now so why bother getting upset.

No I am totally behind our sharks, but I never watch a game that doesn't involve them, and haven't for a number of years, simple sharks not playing then I don't watch

It hasnt dampended my Sharks spirit at all, or my faith in the NRL. I think the NRL has been pretty good during this investigation, I think Dave Smith has been pretty good in it. Sure its a bit of a pain not really knowing much of what is going on, but that was always going to be the case, anything made public during the investigation means its done, we have not many results, other than Earl fessing up, meaning nothing to really tell. The DT etc have done their best to sink us, we have been called drug cheats, killers (the most disgusting piece of journalism of all time IMO), broke etc etc. We still played finals footy, and other than the grand final, probably played in the most exciting of all the finals games. Our reserve grade squad brought home the bacon as well. If anything the 2013 year from hell on the field and in memberships and all the rest was probably the best year the Sharks have had in a long time, including when we made the GF qualifier against melbourne.

What is ruining the NRL for pretty much everyone is channel 9. The same old pick 1,2 or 3 players a year and just flaunt them and flaunt them.

We had SBW's return made out as the second coming of jesus, we had Sam Burgess who could do no wrong even when he grabs guys on the nuts, eye gouges, head highs, kicks to the face etc, but he is still a face of the game if you ask channel 9. **** there is amovie about the ****.

The TV rights deal was a joke. No change in telecast, more ads. 1 live game a week, 2 footy shows, 2 games on delay. Brisbane, Parra, Manly, Tigers and Knights get all the love again. 3 of those teams didnt come close to making the 8.

For the Cronulla-Sutherland Football Club- No

For every parasitic talking head, tabloid journalist and yesterdays hero that has come out of the woodwork with ill-informed opinions or theories, these people have put back sports media into the stoneage which I don't think it will ever recover. It has always been hit'n'miss, but this year is the start of the new era of sports journalism in Australia.

Renewed this year, will renew next year and every year after that. The ****wits can try and eradicate us, but they will never beat us down.

We are not Bears, we are Sharks.
