I went down to Harvey Norman yesterday for the big draw. Aiton, Porter, Tim Smith, Chad Townsend and Stewy Mills were all there signing autographs.
When the time came for the main prize draw, the MC asked the crowd, "Who do you think should draw the prize?" The resounding response from everyone was "CHAD!"...We have a new local hero!:good:
I didn't win the prize but I did meet up with El Coco (who has a gorgeous family by the way, congrats mate!), had a chat to the Yarra Tigers boys (Chad and Millsy) as well as bump into Kade Snowden who was there shopping.
I decided to have a bit of a look myself, as I have been in the market for a second telly for the back room. They had a Sharks members only discount on the day of 20% off everything! Prices were fantastic, I ended up walking out with about $1700 bucks worth of stuff!
Went down to the warehouse to pick up my new TV and who should be there but the big man himself, Snowden, also picking up some goodies! "So they got you, too!", I laughed.
Had a bit of a chat to him about his injury, he said he's coming good. Neck injuries are the pits, they take forever to recover from, I'm speaking from experience. Wished him all the best and said I hoped to see him back on Monday night. He is a real nice, genuine bloke. Such a shame to lose him for next year.
Anyway, just want to say congrat's to El Coco for another successful promo, he is really going above and beyond for the Club, giving up his Sunday to make sure this all ran smoothly. Keep up the good work, mate.:good:

yep, it was a great afternoon....and it was my wife who won the prize!!

Great weekend for you, I would say! Well done mate.
Thought it was pretty funny when they announced the winner and your daughter had to go and find your missus from somewhere in the store. Then, when she is still miles away, the MC starts counting down from ten. I thought, "Geez, there's no way she is gonna make it!"
Lucky the MC realised the same thing and it turned into the slowest countdown ever!
"10, 9, 8, 7...............6........................5", haha!

Iron shark, yes there was a bit of a panic in me when he was counting down.
I knew she wouldn't believe my daughter and would just walk out casually, luckily she realised it was serious. If I had to I was going to take the mic off him and start singing Up Up Cronulla to make him lose count, luckily for everyone that didn;t have to happen.
Thanks to the Sharks and Harvey Norman, it really is a great prize and appreciated.
