Played his junior football in the Cronulla district and was regarded as certain of making first grade with the club. He decided to go to the country two seasons ago to gain experience and played so well that he was selected to play against Sydney Seconds.
Last year he came back "home" and although in and out of the top grade throughout the season, he proved he has what it takes to hold down a top grade spot in the city.
Because he is speedy, he is a natural winger but he has also successfully partnered international centre Steve Rogers. They complement each other in these positions with Rogers' brilliance helped no end by the steady play of Mullane.
