I think it was only just confirmed though.

Mate Millo got the flick when we signed Smith [which is a good buy for us ] As for Lett we should have made a play for him I rate him much better player than Gordon .

thanks milo...
job well done at times.

michael lett, should of made a play

Snowman we have had our disagreements but on this one with Lett we should have had i go at him . The only problem we have is the cap we have no money left .

IMO there is something bigger that we are looking at I don't think it's anything to do with the cap space. I reckon management is keeping a big secret.

The secret might be that we can't afford anyone.

On the other hand, I'm hoping that it is because we are being careful and we're not getting carried away throwing stupid money at average players.

I keep saying it, it's all about making astute purchases. No point just buying players for the sake of it. If the bidding price for someone gets stupid, I'd rather we walk away than get caught up in it.

I would rather not spend money on players who don't want to come here. Lets build with what we have as well as our juniors and go from there.

nah its all good.
its not i dislike milo, we just have enough average players so he was expendable.
put it this way, if it was TT, Pom, Brod (even though i am a massive fan) cordoba, PORTER, i would of given the same response.

i might have been slightly upset at tautai going as he back depth as well, but yeh.
and i know i wouldnt get upset if pom left, although he improved, he is stil l average, and on good $$$.

but thanks again milo

You can say subjective opinions like "on good coin" all you want.

The problem is when people say "He's on 200k" etc.

Mannah, Millington Attend Lymphoma Gala Dinner
28/09/2010 9:00:01 AM

The Cronulla Sharks helped to raise awareness for Lymphoma Cancer by attending the Lymphoma Gala Dinner held on World Lymphoma Awareness Day last week.

The night acknowledged and supported the increasing numbers of Australians facing the challenges of a Lymphoma diagnosis.

Our very own Jonny Mannah attended the Gala Dinner with his family, fellow team mate Grant Millington and the Sharks Education and Welfare Manager, Tony McFadyen.

Jonny is an ambassador for the Lymphoma Australia Organisation with his journey of living with and surviving Hodgkin-Lymphoma being used as an inspirational story for others affected by the terrible disease.

CLICK HERE to see the photo gallery.

“It was a fantastic night and raised much needed funds and awareness for Lymphoma,” Mannah said.

The funds which were raised on the night will be used to:

• Further develop and distribute world class resources for Lymphoma Cancer
• Raise community awareness about Lymphoma, the signs and symptoms
• Ensure access to specialist multidisciplinary care for Lymphoma patients and their carers
• Lymphoma nurses to support lymphoma patients
• Regular lymphoma webcasts
• Lymphoma research for a cure

To date Lymphoma cancer has been a low priority in Australia, however the Gala dinner was a wonderful way to recognise the needs of the Australian Lymphoma community and to contribute to the change that will make a difference.
