Feel free to add.

- loving the fact that the Sharks are going to the big dance but, at the same time, being more nervous than on my wedding day.
- waking up to the realisation it's not all a dream.
- telling the son that I feel his pain when his side bowed out and his knowing I'm legit.
- the spontaneous conversations struck up, the handshakes, the nods, the knowing "here's hoping" looks shared with fellow supporters sporting the Sharks' colours.
- being able to open a newspaper or an app and knowing that there will be something written or said about the Sharks.
- reading, but being immune to, the dribble of hacks like Kent.
- that warm, fuzzy feeling - oh, that's it - just feeling great about being a Sharks supporter.

Go Sharks.

I keep having dreams in which a) I run late for the game and end up watching on tv instead of live and b) that we lose after the game suddenly turns to gridiron and Cooper Cronk turns out to be a star quarterback and just hits vunivalu all day long.

Whenever these dreams happen we usually win, so it's a good sign.

Grand Final week offers a fa(r)cebook poet to rival Chad.

MY TEAM OUR TEAM
So what made the news that was special today?
What politician has lied away?
What celebrity chick has got divorced?
What stupid law will be now enforced?

How far are we, now in debt?
Who's birthday did we nearly forget?
Which football beef cake got caught with drugs
Which next suburb, is full of thugs

Who's gunna win the AFL?
Swannies of course, can't you tell?
Who's gunna win the NRL?
The sharks of course! Who can't foretell!

I'll be there to urge them on
Even after, the crowds are gone
I'll be there with full support
So come on down, be a good sport

It's the sharkies night, to rock the place
They'll score here first and set the pace
They'll will be doin' all their special stuff
Storm run for cover, until you've had enough

Dunno about you guys but reading these these types of threads & posts makes me feel squeamish & nervous in the guts.

I reckon if we win I'll be all good & yahooish leading up to the final whistle but when the full time whistle goes & it's there for to actually digest it all & see the boys & fellow fans celebrate will make me get teary.

i had a dream I met Val In Kmart and he was like "I heard you're not coming to the game, 697 can come with me" then I wave at him with love in my eyes

More poetry...
ONCE UPON A TIME

Once upon a time in the land of the Nulla
Where black white and blue were the predominate colour
There lived a fan who was die hard and loyal
Always treasured this sacred soil

Now this fan had been patient for so long
But never once faltered it's where they belong
Deep in the womb of this wonderful shire
Where a grand final win was there only desire

They took on a team who raised up a 'storm"
They wanted their dream to take on and swarm
Their team were contenders to win their first ever comp
Come Sunday night they would have come home to romp

"The premiership is ours" each fan had said
We are the sharlkies, we have plenty of cred
So up up Cronulla! lets here our cry
It's time to win a premiership..before I die!
