Rugby League in the Sutherland Shire recently lost a special person with the passing of George Nolan.

Rugby League in the Sutherland Shire recently lost a special person with the passing of George Nolan.
A Cronulla-Sutherland Life Member, George was involved with the club for almost 50 years. To have claimed the honour of life membership is testament to the hard work that he had always put in. George was well respected by all that knew him and there was never an unkind word said about him.
George was a mentor to many involved in the game and his counsel and help was greatly appreciated by all.
To the Nolan family and friends we offer our sincere condolences. We would also like to thank you for allowing George to devote so much of his life to rugby league in the Sutherland Shire.
We are all the better for knowing this special man and having had the privilege of being able to share so many memories.
George has been a very active member of our Junior League and will be sorely missed.
Funeral arrangements are as follows:
Thursday, 20th May, 2.30pm
West Chapel at Woronora Cemetary.
