Think Hynes as a running 6, with O'Sullivan as that controlling, midfield general style 7 would have been a great combo
O'Sullivan seems to be on a bigger trajectory than Trindall, but he's also been surrounded by probably the best performing side in rugba league history

He’s also a year older and just next year looks like he will have a chance to be an NRL starter

We are 99% locked into the top 4 with 3 games left to play, Nicho has proven he has it. I rate O'Sullivan, but I don't think we need to have a conversation about bringing the best out of Hynes anymore. I think the conversation just needs to be about the player with the highest ability to play beside him.

He can be the 7 with a Moylan/Dykes/Burton style partner, he could also be the 6 with a Trindall/O'Sullivan/Reynolds style partner. At this stage I'm just trying to get the best half possible in either position and trusting that Nicho will be Nicho alongside.

And I don't think there's any question that if Trindall were available O'Sullivan still wouldn't be the number one choice for the Dolphins

There’s probably a lot of question about that I’d have thought

Just my opinion but I see SOS as a fringe first grader - which is where he currently sits …
Only because of previous injuries (which it looks like he’s over them for now) and the fact that he has Cleary and Luai in front of him. If the Dolphins back him properly as their 7 and gradually improve the team around him in the coming years, then I reckon that opinion of yours will have to change. Providing the injury bug doesn’t come back of course.

Fair points mate but if he couldn’t nail down a spot at the Warriors then I have my doubts ..

Before anyone hassles Will Kennedys ability to tackle one on one, watch Reece Walsh's efforts in this game!

It's a pity the Warriors are so hopeless. Cowboys are there to be beaten tonight.
