i hope releasing gallen,s younger brother does not
come back to bite us, i would have thought he would
have been worth keeping. even he ended half as good as
his brother he would have been one of our best forwards
in years to come.
besides i do not think he would have cost much to keep

I defs don't think it will come back to bite us but I would love to see him make it. He sounds like he will do anything to get there and the same can't ba said for alot of guys who are even more talented.

How good was Paul Gallen at 21?

I get a bit worried that these days forwards are quickly forgotten if they don't peak early.

From memory our two best forwards (Gallen and Jez) both were far from spectacular early on.

yeah true.

I am too young to see examples of this so I instantly think if they are good at 20-21 they will be superstars and others won't.
