Fair enough guys there were some shocking players out there, but seriously you are saying this player gone and this player gone. but far out who does NSW have to replace them, how about this then I would make the following changes for Origin 3

1. B. Stewart - played well enough to hold spot
2. Burt/Covell - Solid, goal kickers, I think Covell be good in SOO
3. King - Is not a winger and that showed defensively tonight
4. Cooper - Played ok, if not him then leave Lyon
5. Hayne - Showed me he can play at level
6. Bird - Played well in limited time, will do well at 5/8th
7. Kimmorely - Absolutely Brilliant game
8. O Mealey - Needs to lift yes, but other props are ****
9. Buderous - Solid game, needs more dummy half running
10. Kite - Solid in time on the field
11. Hindmarsh - leave him on for longer and then he wont play ****
12. Hoffman - Played solid, nothing special in first game
13. Gallen - Needs to be bought into the team, NSW needs some passion

14. Mason - Thought he played well, bench spot to cover FR and SR
15. White - Back up prop
16. Ryan - Workhorse, but dont think should get 80mins
17. k. Gidley - Bring him back into the side for variety of positions, but if he doesnt come good by next origin game have Lyon as he can play 5/8th n move Bird to forwards.


Oh and even though I know it wont happen, get a better coach in there, Murray struggles, Give Bellamy or someone a go

There's an interesting little common link - Barret didn't work well with Kimmorley in 05, Anasta didn't work well with Kimmorley last night ... apparently Dykes and Kimmorley don't gel well together.

I'm not really all that strong on either side of the Noddy fence (ie: I don't love or hate him ... nice bloke, but as a footy player, I'm neither here nor there) ... but it seems like Noddy doesn't share well?

Ref was shocking. Apparently its more of an offense to lay in the ruck a little bit long than it is to pull of a high shot.

The forward pass makes up the Steve Price no-try in game one. And the Hindmarsh try too.

Queensland won, I'm happy. Then I remember it was at Telstra, and I'm over the moon!

Good game from Noddy too, just the rest of the nuffies in blue shirts couldn't make anything from the field position he gave 'em. Cameron Smith retains his Australian number 9 jersey too. He was masterful lastnight, even if the media will have you believe it was all Thurston's doing. Buderus was one dimensional in attack, and Robbie Farah should have his spot in no time.
