Form going in to the finals

The "momentum" theory suggests a team can win the premiership, even from 5th or 6th place, as long as they are going in to the finals in form. I have compared the results of the last 5 rounds for the top 8 teams, and based on that form, Sharks fans can be satisfied the Sharks are well placed to make a run in to the finals.

The Roosters and over hyped Broncos have the worst form coming into the finals, and Manly's is patchy. The teams are ranked on premiership points earnt in the last 5 weeks (out of a possible 10 points), and then by differential for the last 5 weeks.

The Raiders played the bottom 3 teams in their last 5 games (and lost 1 of those!) so the Sharks really are looking all right.

everyones talking up the raiders and how they have done well over the past few weeks....and they have suprised me with their acomplisments...but to put it into perspective....they havnt played a team of any note...
in their last 5 weeks of competition, they have won 4....having said that....thay have only played dogs, penrith, souths, knights and cowboys....none of those teams being the cream of the crop..
so while their form looks impresive...one has to facotr the quality of oposition..which in my eyes, has been pretty frail

For sure. I reckon the Warriors are the dark horse's. I think they would have beaten manly, but i dunno about the storm. The storm are a class above (just like geelong)

i think it is a musical note though.

the warriors won't win anything.
they are big and burly but cannot win consistently away from home, and certainly not at melbourne.
all teams have to do is play controlled, defend well and wait for them to implode.
it even worked for the dragons against them!
