This is about as smart as the petition.

Do you really think the petition had that much weight in Flanno being re-instated? I would personally think it had more to do with the vocal support from our playing group.

(I am only assuming Flanno will be re-instated)

mate good idea but can I suggest that it doesnt have to be a black white and blue one?

I'm not going to go out and buy a flanno shirt but i have a red one burried somewhere - i suspect alot of people are the same.

a flanno is a flanno is a flanno!

Do what you want. I just prefer that my team see's us wearing black white and blue. Im suggesting that you wear these over your existing merchandise that you are wearing form the club.

Like i said, the players on the field are what's important. If we all wear a flanno, the team knows we support them. They want him back, if he's found guilty then so be it but until that point let's assume innocence.

Really? wouldnt matter much about the players if there was no club for them to play for though.

Wow great attitude. Go and follow the Rabbits 'sharkyboy'

Someone doesn't get it.
This is bigger than the players or coach. No player is bigger than the club.
I dont care if we play all games this year with a 20s side and all of the players go to the dragons as long as we have a club by the end of all of this then im happy. Im in with the club in the long haul.... Are you???

One would think that if those talks went well, it'd have leaked by now...

Bruno Cullen is a smart man and a bloke who has a high regard for the current and former members of the Sharks board.

My money is on the 'Flanno Ban' staying in place, in the short term at least.

If ASADA haven't thrown him out for four years by the end of the season, he might be able to take over for the finals.

Amen to all of this, brother.

Flanno wasn't running around as a five year old dreaming of playing like Sludge or Sparkles or ET or Rat. Not too many current first graders were, either.

It's a JOB to these blokes, sure they love the place once they arrive and they give us 100%, but I bet if you surveyed them regarding their childhood team, our Sharkies won't feature very often.

No I don't and I wouldn't of signed it on the very off chance that I was on the save Flanno bandwagon. Online petitions are a waste of bandwidth and carry no credible weight on any issue.

The vocal support of the playing group will have enough to do with re instatement either. Only being cleared 100% on both a potential complicity issue and/or an incompetence issue will see him reinstated and at this time is light years away.

I disagree. The thing of primary importance is survival of the club. You can coach 'em for all I care at this point in time. As long as there is something left to rebuild. Don't forget, some of the players may be complicit.

I am in exactly the same place as yourself. Did you mean to quote sharkyboy? I agree wholeheartedly, there is however a lot of players in our first grade team that want to have the coach back.

If i wasn't in for the longhaul, would i not try and start a campaign to support the players? Cmon brother.

I just think that the players need to know that we are behind them 100%, i don't think anyone on this forum will disagree with that.

I would suggest that current on field success is vital at this point of time to ensure the survival of the club. At this point of time the current players whether they are guilty or not need support.
