Very enjoyable listen - thanks for that .
Fitzy seems so relaxed , down to earth and oozing footy smarts.
No doubt he'd have a spray in him when required .
BUT , unlike say Madge and early days Ricky ( spraying regularly ) , seems would only need to use it IF absolutely necessary . ( Trent Robinson the same ? )
Feels like he could calm the squad and get his messages through to be absorbed intelligently .
I could be WAY WRONG , just how it feels to me .

I think its a great observation mate. His really enjoyed the role, he just cant wait for the season to start. I wish i recorded the pre chat, you'd be lining up at Ticketek for GF tickets today if i did haha

Had already looked at all the markets
Would have loved to see Sharks more than $1:90 to make the 8 ( If $2:40 , would have smashed it ).
BUT , if they play to their potential and a bit of luck , they really SHOULD be top 8

I think that's a pretty fair price when you look at the other teams likely to compete for 7th to 8th. Can't see Newcastle staying in the 8.

Straight up NRL betting is garbage especially the end of season 6 month wait to pay off.
Multis are the only way to go with league betting.

He definitely played his cards close to his chest on the record. You joked about the clichés but there really was a lot of "he's had a great/disrupted preseason. I guess that's what a coach has to do at this stage though. No point coming out and saying these are our halves, when it will be a motivation killer for the other guys.

He mentioned a few "back to training injuries". Any idea who these are?
