Go to the Nrl website and check out the video titled "Freddy's focus" (From the fox programm "NRL Daily").
He basically says that the Sharks will have no choice but to merge as he thinks the development proposal is unlikely to go through. I dont know his basis for this or agenda but it doesnt sound good. Its negative press like this that has a way of shaping public opinion, and im both annoyed and surprised Freddy has put this idea out there.
I implore Irvine to combat this rubbish with some sort of public statement to ease the mind of memebers and fans.
