Gal was on the Game Plan last night. He said that we will be fielding our strongest team all year outside of Pomeroy. I don't know if I'm reading into it too much or does that mean Gardner is back?

I used to like Canberra but I hate them with a passion since Fergo went there. I will not be able to cope if they beat us, and beat us well.

Same, it hurts that Fergo and finished above us somehow but win this game and all is well, lose it and I will be most upset

Oh my god i am so drunk right now.

****ing hell I don't care about all the **** that has happened between any of us, I love all the ****s on sharksforever, even mr wright and jigsaw !!

Go the sharks!!

Lol the game isn't till Sunday but spose never too early to start for a Sharkies fan. I like the sentiment of your post, I think there we be some similar posts providing we get the win this weekend

Yes, it is great we made the 8, BUT, with our season(we could easily be top 4 if a few things went right) I think it would be an utter disapointment (and failure) if we get knocked out by Raiders round one. I have never been so nervous for a Sharkies win!

I feel the same, I can't believe that in 80 mins this rollercoaster season could either be over or taking an exciting twist! It's kinda weird, sometimes I sorta forget we are even in this finals as if we are just making up the numbers and destined to lose but it's not impossible that the Sharks turn it on and get a few weeks in. Remember our finals game against them in 2008, we nailed them. :)

McCrone & Papalii are the danger men on Sunday.

Robinson, Dugan & Ferguson score the tries ... but McCrone creates a lot of those opportunities, he is a much improved player this year. And Papalii carved us up on the RH edge last time, he is a beast.

Hammer them hard & often boys !!!

The Mac attack has always been a good player. People just have never seen it till now. People just dont have the magic eye like myself

Mcrone is a tough little bloke, gets hammered a lot and always gets back up and has a strong passing game.

You can tell why he's underrated, he's small and doesn't look like he has much but if you take your eyes off him for a second he will be through you before you can blink. Deceptively fast as well.

Its very interesting reading some of the posts on the canberra forums, alot of them are quite concerned to be playing us which is great hopefully that will reflect back to the players.

They are also talking a lot about 'tv experts' tipping cronulla to win because of our grit and determination, however I see a lot of the experts tipping against us, so i guess its all about interpretation.

The one thing I did agree on was the fact they were talking about us getting ahead and being able to grind out the win, I think it is very important to get ahead early then hopefully be able to run them down at the backend of the game, but as we know Raiders can really turn it on when they are behind.

I am not to sure what to make of this game...

Matty Johns said it best.

Raiders rely almost entierly on momentum, they can be on one hell of a roll but as soon as the opposition show signs of coming but they struggle. That means that if we can score first in both halfs then, hopefully, they're out of it.

I'm all for the consolation wager to ease the pain if we lose. I'm thinking sharks will be faster if the blocks due to us having more finals type experience, so leading at halftime, but then attempting to grind out a win in the second half which is madness against this Canberra side. They may well run over us in the last 10 min and win. This is a likely scenario so I'm backing the half normal double sharks/Canberra at 6 to 1. I'm hoping to lose my dough.

We need to keep our heads up what ever the score is and tighten our defence out wide.

A bummer about poms but I think we will have the guts and determination to smash the Raiders.

I think our key player will be Smith, if he can take control up the centre we'll be right.

Looking forward to seeing Gards out there.

Anyways, looking forward to a great victory on Sunday.

Up The Sharks

Again, if Gal can play better than average (he averages 195 meters) and pull out a 250, I think it gives us every chance. Please Gal, no ball playing.........
