There is an old saying
You dont ever wanna play a time 3 times in one year that u have beaten twice.....

Yeah, didn't that happen to us in '99 the third time we played the Dragons...?

up where?

just where do you think the raiders home ground is?

He must have been referring to the fact that their ground is higher altitiude above sea level than ours. Obviously a geography buff:D

The raiders have been decimated by injury, no matter who they play in the first week of the semi's expect them to make an early exit.

I agree, a halfback is the key and they lack one now

You'll catch me in posts in no time at this rate, MattyShArk...
But it's good you're enjoying it. I have found this forum to be excellent, and even when people disagree or take the p*&s, it's in a good manner.

When my wife (before she was my wife) used to visit me in Goulburn from Sydney, I used to always say she was coming "up", because it is a climb of about 1800 feet, which used to annoy her no end...

Although I'm basically just repeating what I've said elsewhere, I'd have to agree with Smile Ricky... that we are probably going to play the loser of the Dragons/Roosters game. It would certainly be nice if either Manly or Melbourne slipped up this week, but I can't see it happening.

Maybe the Chooks will help the Raiders leap over the Dragons. It is not likely, but if the Raiders smash the Dogs and the Chooks win, it would be a nice result for two reasons: the Sharks would play the Raiders in the first final, and the Dragons would be playing for their lives against Melbourne or Manly (and if they win, it gives the Sharks a chance to move to the 3rd week of the finals, and if they lose, one of the danger teams in the finals are gone).

I still think Manly will be minor premiers, but I'm not as worried about meeting Melbourne before the grand final as I was. If we have to, it is most likely off the back of Melbourne having a loss to the Knights, a win (at home) v Souths, a win (at home) v an injury ravaged Raiders, and a week off- not great preparation for them. The Sharks will have to have won 2 weeks in a row (probably v the loser of the Dragons v Roosters game, then V the loser of the Broncos v Dragons/Roosters final), so will be carrying more momentum into the match.

Of course, to win the premiership the Sharks will probably have to win against Melbourne (away from home) and Manly (away from home) two weeks in a row, so the order doesn't really matter. That's a tough ask, no team has done anything like that since....the Sharks, Round 1 and 2!
