I like to do a bit of lure casting around Port Hacking out of my kayak.

Sometimes I go saltwater flycasting around the sand banks and mudflats too.

Have been know to go rock fishing around the Cobblers and The Ovens in the Nasho.

Have done a lot of freshwater fly fishing as well.

Hardly get any time to go nowadays though.

I used to take my caravan to Broken Head every Boxing Day for 4 weeks and fish anywhere from Lennox to the Cape. Mostly surf & rocks though, but occasionally in a tinny.

Made the Northern Star one year after we capsized about 200 metres out from Broken Head and had to swim to shore.

But yeah I love fishing.
did the same last australia day.Got smashed on a beach launch at lennox. Hurt my pride and my wallet
