I was thinking, would the sharks (when we have the money) create a "family stadium" where the family hill is.

The sharks could make it alcohol free, kids under 14 pay half price etc

thoughts?

I've always liked the idea of maybe another course of seating that runs upon the other side of the walkway... about as deep as the rest of the concourse seating.

Or maybe , you could have hospitality, catering & restroom facilities sort of semi-buried into the hill and then have a terrace over the top of that.

It's hard to explain what I mean - I'll do a drawing of what I have in mind and post it here.

The Power Pole is alway going to be an ongoing annoyance with anything that goes there - relocation would be a hugely costly excercise. Not impossible... but costly.

I also like the fact that there is an area there where the young kids can play footy and rumble on the grass. Sometimes it gets out of hand... but mostly it regulates itself.

If we had the money to do it it'd be great to engage an architect to come up with some concepts.

It all seems a bit pointless just at the moment because we're not filling the seats that we've got already.

But, then again, by providing better and more comfortable facilities, perhaps we'll be able to attract those who are hesitant to come along. It will become more and more important as the stadium becomes used for other purposes as well.

The Hill is a great place to watch the footy on a Sunday arvo... but it can get REALLY bleak there at night with southerly driving rain.

Keep the hill, a ground without a hill has no soul! Apart from scoreline, Sunday arvo at Brookie in the Sun the other week was magic!

If they had the money they need to put more covered seating in. Would be great if they could link the Peter Burns, Southern, and ET stands. If that was all covered seating it would look great.

I like the family hill. I can never get my kids off the jumping castle. On the odd time when it is not there they are pretty upset

That was one of the reasons i suggested it. At the eels game the family hill was packed with kids but when it started raining the parents had to take them home. (don't want any kiddies with colds now do we)

Covering for the Peter Burns stand would great for the fans.
