I disagree with that - Kepa is statistically much better at saving pens than Mendy and they’ve won before doing that. So I understand why it was done, it just didn’t work out this time.

I heard its the other way around. Ralf didnt want to play him, and knowing Ronnie, that would of made him a bit cross. Ralf wanted try the much more mobile Elanga and Sancho in front of a diamond midfield of Bruno, Pogba, Fred and McTominay, with Bruno and Pogba occasionally pushing up through the middle. He wanted to hit City on the break with pace.
Safe to say it didnt quite work.
Also safe to say I had a pretty shitty weekend. I had two derbies to look forward to and my two teams didnt show up for either one of them. Well **** me I guess…..

There seems to be three different version of events at the moment. From what Ive seen the ‘Ralf leaving him out’ seems to have the most evidence backing it.
But the club is a shambles so who knows.

Soooo this is getting messy. Chelsea are no longer allowed to sell tickets to their games. Only season ticket holders are allowed to games now.
This is due to Roman Abramovich’s assets being frozen as he’s been sanctioned for the war. Chelsea will still be allowed to operate but under a special licence, this also means the clubs sale is on hold.
