Cheers guys, how does it work & what does the club get out of it.

What I mean is, why pay a player a certain wage & in Mooy's case it probably wouldn't be a huge wage in comparison to premier league pay packets but too have no plan to use him other than loan him out.

Is it a case of Man City thinking, we are not sure if this guy has the goods or possibly is a future superstar but we got him cheap so we'll loan him to a 2nd tier comp & if he develops into a gun we'll take him back?

thats exactly it

you have a look at chelsea last year, they had more players on loan thatn they had left behind, and every week their scouting team gives a report on progress
the ones worth keeping will be kept, the ones that are **** will be sold

even still, if he has a good year in belguim, but city dont like him or want him to stay out, they will send him to a better league

he could very easily end up at a club like mochengladbach and no one would bat an eye lid

Off the top of your heads did Melb City get a transfer fee, or was Mooy off contract?

Anyway this may lead to Timmy Cahill signing for them

We just signed two Mino Raiola clients, why not make it a 3rd with Pogba? :p
