he was a goal scoring freak for AC Milan, had Madrid and Barca falling over themselves to sign him. Rumours were Barca agreed terms with his agent for 350k a week before he sacked his agent and re-signed with Milan for pennies.

he then suffered injury after injury, and has a knee as chronic as the week you see snoop smoking. was released on a free and now plays for Sao Paulo in Brazil, where he has been injury free and is banging in goals like 2010 bangs in burgers

you guys are apparently getting him for 8mil and that is a bargain, but it is a fall from grace as he could have easily been top 3 in Europe

You're right though don't know much about Pato but if he's as good as you say, then I'll look forward to the season!

I don't know about pato, might be a decent backup for west brom If they keep berahino.

Only scoring at a goal every 2 games in brazil. I know there was a lot of crap about his team mates hating him because of his wages last season then he was loaned to another Brazilian team so maybe he'll start refinding some of his potential with a fresh start.

Inconsistent is the right word for benteke, when he's on he's an absolute beast but those games are few and far between. How much of that is from being in a crap villa team I don't know.

Yep i'll be surprised if anybody pays the money to sign him. Needs to have a consistent season to get somebody to bid the 32.5m pounds release clause or close to which Sherwood looks like he's holding out for.

to be fair to benteke, he is not bad for the national team, but origin and lukaku are more preferred to him, 32.5 is ridiculous though

Definitely not a Pulis player. Was prone to injury also and did not hold the middle as well as Claudio Yacob.
