when was the last time you won the EPL? (counting years before comp was changed to EPL)

Doesnt matter when we won the league last, we're still the most successful club in England and number 19 will just add to that and you'll still be in our shadows :cheers

Lol panda, you were heckling Man U because we scrapped a win over Thailand. Now that the shoe is on the other foot it's different and it's ok because it's a friendly. Typical Liverpool fans.

Come on panda. Liverpool fans do love to trumpet their trophies, don't they?* "We used to be good, don't you know?"* You're the South Sydney of the EPL.* :D

Man U get frugal

You know there really is a global financial crisis when Manchester United rein in their spending. Their neighbours, Manchester City, backed by mega-rich owners, have cut loose in the player market leading up to the new English Premier League season starting next month, but Man U chief executive David Gill is adamant his club won't be trying to match them. "United has been around since 1878 and our job is to make sure it is still around for many more years in a sensible fashion," Gill said. "That is by generating our own income. There will be ups and downs, but, overall, we think that what we are doing is having a sustainable business model for the long term." That is United speak for saying the financial heat is on and they won't be paying ridiculous amounts for players. The proof is in the fact that United have lost superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez, but have only signed injury-prone Michael Owen in return. United manager Alex Ferguson says he expects Owen to figure in about 25 league games this season and score 15 goals. The Big Wrap reckons that might be asking for more than Owen has got left.

Hey Sharkiesfreak, as a fellow Arsenal finatic like me, whats ur opinion on Adebayor going to Man city a few weeks ago?

I for one, I have nothing against Adebayor whatsoever but on one hand Im soughta glad his gone cause now we wont have as many strikers fighting for positions in the team but on the other hand im not so happy about it, he was a prolific goalscorer for Arsenal so he will be a huge loss all in all I think

Looks like you may be about to lose Kolo Toure to them as well.
