It's Edrick I put in the effort HB - good read and confirms the strength he put on in pre season we all saw along with cutting out the mistakes

Gunna miss him, been excellent for us this year :(

Took me 8 weeks to fully heal busted collar bone before I could safely take contact again and I was basically one armed for the first few weeks at least- but I didn't have Edricks magical healing powers of joy. IIRC a clean break is better than a fracture

4-6 weeks seems the norm for NRL players to recover from

Ah he was fine. A couple of errors but did everything else right. Just not the Ed we love.

He does this thing where he turns his back on his attacker and runs with them. I dunno if it’s a taught thing, but it looks so sketchy when he does it.

Nah if what you're talking about is the same thing I'm thinking of thats okay 20 odd out if they begin to form an overlap. He makes sure his inside man is coming across before turning to make up the space between him and the winger - if the centre misses him Ed is facing the right way for a chase and provided Val and the cover D is on script we're good.

Yep, 20 our from the line it’s cool. He’s not static or moving forward throughthe oppositions attacking line- if he misses its game over.( it does look spectacular if you square up and get your man, but when you are moving forward or are flat footed it’s a low percentage play)

He takes the safety first approach and let’s them get past him and runs them down.... on the line it’s a different story though - ya gotta whack them, which he did the last 2 weeks..
