Is he the worst "first" grader you guy's have ever seen? I am astonished by his selection for the last couple of weeks. He is seriously garbage. Surely we could start a youngster like Karl in his place, he could do no worse.

yeh i really dont see any value in him. stupid penalties and errors seem to come from him at unecessary times. shouldve played peek if he was fit or bring in sam moa again. was really impressed with his debut against the tigers

trust me karl could do worse

You keep saying this mate and don't get me wrong I havent seen him play live yet, but he has played for New Zealand A and was identified by numerous people (including Ricky) as an outstanding talent. You don't just lose the ability to play football in a season. I agree with Brad, if he came off the bench and played in the forwards close to the ruck he could be very effective.

ive found him to be quite fast off the mark, he has good defence as well and with proper coaching he will go good. You have to remember he is in a new side or actually two new sides Cobras and NYC thats on average 40 guys he has to get to know learn how they play and try to fit in, that cant be easy to do for anyone let alone a 19 year old kid.
If by the end of the season he hasnt done much it would be fair enough to call him crap but untill then you cant really judge it can you.

lol yeah in the NYC snapper..PL is a completely different story - getting smashed each week wouldnt do his confidence the world of good..if he isnt in first grade..which he should be along with a few others from the NYC team..you play NYC if eligible..cause no way should they play in PL at this current stage if they can play for NYC

you have to get some experience in nsw cup casue of the body size and weight etc. but by the sounds of it not many people are scoring tries in the nsw cup games anyways. he is a NYC player. i just dont see the point of bagging the bloke till he gets a proper chance to stay in one side and get the hang of it.

that try he scored last night..heard he was one on one with the fullback, instead of trying to side step him..he just steam rolled him and left him for dead..

after a few more NYC games, he needs to be in 1st grade..along with stapleton and maori

haha why sidestep when you can flatten the guy. thats the whole point he was taught to flatten people like most solid blokes are taught run at the smallest guy. Under the sharks coaches he can learn how to sidestep and then he wont have any troubles.

Snapper, smart players learn to run lines, holes, and play smarter, why run over someone ALL the time, when you can hit holes at pace and at worst get an inside shoulder tackle and fast play the ball, rather then taking the chance of a dominate tackle or slow play the ball from a front on tackle?

Lets be honest for the 150k odd he is being paid, you want him to develop and learn to play in bad & good teams, this will happen throughout his career, at some stage you have to take control of your footy and have a go, my mail is he does that very sparingly, hence why Ricky is not happy with him. I would like to see him stay in NYC and really dominate, that would show me he is ready, because really to make NRL side, you should be a class above NYC & PL, and he hasn't shown that consistently yet.

On Cooper, I don't mind him actually, another back moved into second row, like Fraser, he is building, but has a while to go.

He hasn't really impressed me yet, but he has had limited opportunity. I'm not sure we can be seriously calling him the worst first grader we've ever seen- it is a bit early for that, too, I'd say.

He'll have some way to go to match Paul Carige's famous heroics...

Another Knight, I reckon Dustin is a favourite of Stuarts.

When he had his ankle injury I noticed he was always in the coaches box every sharks game, when he had only been there for a year or two.

His similar to Cameron Ciraldo at the Knights.
