I remember as a child after the 88 grand final I developed a bit of soft spot for the Balmain Tigers. This was mainly due to fact that Canterbury at time were my most hated team.

In the 89 season when Cronulla met Balmain late in the season on Friday Night Footy they smashed us 28-6.

That put an end to my soft spot for the Tigers.

And in my opinion that is why it's impossible to have a second fav team. Cronulla will have to play em at some stage.
