It always fascinated me how Deano always decided if/when he was subbed. I'll never forget him waving frantically at the bench midway through the first half, each and every game - and sure enough, several minutes later he'd go running off the field.

I don't imagine that Anderson would have liked players telling him when they were going to be coming off.
