Thats 2 good games, (2 more than Gardner, Kelly and Vave), I cant see this guy being a dud, he is quick as (grew up playing centre) strong and fit. Saying that I havent seen him play much, just read a fair bit. Played U-19's for QLD
Anyway out of interest does anyone know if he's off contract?

This guy was playing centre as a junior and is quick, now he has put on heaps of muscle and is a BIG second rower, quick and strong in the tackles, the bunnies know they are on a winner with this guy.
The people that have watched this guy play over the years, they have no doubt he is the goods.
Its exactly the same as all the other juniors that have been signed for next year, none of them have played NRL, but if they are the best of all the other juniors in the 20's for example its a strong indication that they will be quality players.
Yes its a risk but if you dont take the risk, NO DOUBT someone else will sign them !!!

So does anyone know if Dave Tyrrell from the Rabbitohs is off contract? I have looked for this info. and cant find?
He has had large raps on him the last coupel of years and has excelled the last 2 weeks in both of his' first grade appearances

Yeah, they will just magically appear. You can only develop what you have and at the moment the cupboard appears bare. If talent is identified elsewhere then it is open slather Peach.
Even if we did develop our own talent then some other club will just steal it like always
Thats the nature of the beast mate. You cant keep everyone and realistically there are only so many spots in your squad. Penrith and Parramatta get raided far more than us. The key is to identify talent wherever that may be then secure them long term.

Has been in the works at Souths for a couple of years.
Has played 2 first grade games where he has EXCELLED in both. Was a U-19 junior rep in the CENTRE position.
Has since put on a TOM of muscle and plays in the second row, he is quick, agile,fit and powerful, does heaps of defense as well.

He's an up-and-coming, I'll give you that.
Also agree with Blix, Junior is going to have an impact. I've also watched his younger brother BK play, and I have no doubt he'll be making it as well. Great players who work their asses off.
