Cronulla sharks Boundrys are some what small. so what about the new board do something about it, ok Bundeena is the shire, so how about a corridor from Bundeena through the royal national park out the southern highlands down to the Victorian border and across to the coast from Nowra down to bega, im petty shore that the Illawarra stops at Nowra, so we take control of the coast line down to the Vic border, even out to Wagga Wagga. send our teams out to trial send our Nsw team out their to trial. send a rep A grade teams out to play clubs out their, offer free tickets to sharks game, really put a push on to stake our claim.

I can totally see the population of Eden responding well to free tickets to Sharks home games.

I would love to see the sharks play down here we have had NRL trial matches played at Batemans Bay, Moruya and Bega in the past. Only problem is that the facilities are not what the players would be used to. You would be surprised of the following the sharks have on the south coast. Ricky has also brought teams down to Batemans Bay in the past for training camps. But the Raiders seem to think they have this area sown up due to the proximity to the ACT and a lot the talented young guys end up there Mick Weyman and the Cross brothers to name a few.

Maybe we should have merged with the Steelers when we had the chance? Forgive if I'm wrong because I'm not an expert on Sydney geography but wouldn't that give us uninterrupted territory from Wollongong to the Shire? That's a massive area with a huge junior base and I think the stadium down in Wollongong is actually pretty cool and wouldn't mind Sharkies playing the odd home game there.

Thoughts?

I believe we already have the Milton/Ulladulla Bulldogs as a feeder for us?

I'd like to take Dubbo under our wing... not sure who they belong to but we seem to get a few come our way.

The South Coast is a very important breeding ground for the game of Rugby League.
The group boundaries are there for specific reasons & the development of local players would be seriously affected if they were taken over by any one individual club.

No exceptions fancyman.
To me it would be like St George Illawarra imposing their influential recruitment strategies on the sacred shire or those greedy Roosters trying to claim Maroubra or Matraville as their own.
At the end of the day the Cronulla DJRLFC should be happy with what they have & continue to nurture & develope their own juniors without raping someone else's junior district.
