If the Board does not find Airey in breach of code of conduct as a Director and have him expelled from the Board they only prove that they are complicit in this nonsense.

Think a certain board member should be out the door as quick as carney. Actively trying to deceive the nrl when the club was going through probably the lowest season in its history.

this. He made 2 mistakes. One was trying to help him in the first place and the second was doing it through text messages. His heart was in the right place but his stupidity should see him lose his spot on the board. Was trying to help the bloke out now it's getting used against him

Board members shouldn't be having any personal involvement with players IMO. They should now the ins and out or each player but at arms length.
