We request that all Members of this Forum please credit their sources when posting.

Please do not post any of the following:

I read on LU...

I just read on NRL Twitter...

Today's Telecrap says...

I have it on good authority...

--------------------------------------

The way to credit properly is to wrap someone elses' words in quote tags

We request that all Members of this Forum please credit their sources when posting

And to follow it up with (a) link/s* to the source/s.

* If there is no online source available, then we ask you to attribute exactly where the words in the quote tags originated from.

Thank You for your understanding.

:cheers

Haha... Good luck dude/s.

You gotta understand that it is learned behaviour for people to think more about themselves than to think fairly about any other thing.

Starting an 'Learn To Unlearn' campaign is a good start though!

This is true but it was only one of many issues Farliegh had with players at the club, if any of the things are true that I have heard about Farliegh I would spit at him too

Not one of these credits any kind of reputable source.

is that because most of it was in the telecrap?

Fair point :) - The problem is that none of the posts quote any source, or give links to a source.

---------------------------------

Well if your using a iphone like me to use the site its a bit hard to quote sources

* If there is no online source available, then we ask you to attribute exactly where the words in the quote tags originated from.

Unfortunately, not all sources are easily referenced.

I think it is fair and reasonable to quote a source as something like:

"On this morning's Talkin' Sport on 2SM Graeme Hughes said .... blah, blah, blah"

or

"On Thursday night's Matty Johns Show, Blocker Roach said .... blah, blah, blah"

or

"In today's Daily Telegraph, Phil Rothfield said .... blah, blah, blah"

In these cases we may not be able to find a valid link to what is stated, however the comments are on the public record and consequently can be cited and referred to.

What I hate most is when someone says:

"Someone I know who is very close to the Club says .... blah, blah, blah"

or

"So and So is on the outer and going to get sacked because they had a barney with whooblie dooblie"

Less dribble... more quality.

Also, while we're on the topic of crediting of sources...

Can everyone please try where possible to include photo-credits for pics that are posted.

Thanks.

I recall a few people saying they heard Milo was only being offered around 65K from us but around 100 from the Dogs. I understand why he chose what he did. For a player of his caliber the extra money is worth the change.
Millo wasn't even offered 65k in the end , he was told we are nearly over the cap already and the only way he was going to get any money was we had to get rid of cuthbo . He didn't get 100k from the dogs either in fact a lot less .So dont hold your breath waiting for us to sign anybody else .

im not after the rep,

my future father in law is a minor sponser @ the penny pathers,

i met one of his business partners tonight and he suggested to me that he might invest his sponsorship with one of our new signings....

i will hold on the name of the company at the moment but i think they have a bond with this player

he gave karl 10 minutes in firsts, but played guys like norrie afamasaga and donnely in the 2 years karl was here.
surely he was better than one of them

He was , but what a lot of you folks dont realise is the contract incentive cap issues that arise from playing 2nd tier players in FG.

exactly why Ike finished in reggies this year any more top grade games and it was a cap and contract issue

-Gal's unbelievable performance each week. More metres than any other player this year, and 2-6 were backs. Don't have the stats in front of me but he was something like 5th or 6th in tackle count and similar in offloads.
