The problem is he has invested into the current squad except for 5/8, and changing the 5/8 isn't going to solve our real problems despite what all the puppets on here say

If we aren't getting anywhere anyway, isn't it worth making some changes to shape the squad for the future?

This was my concern when we signed Hynes and it was becoming clear that it would be Moylan that partnered him. Credit to them, they made it work somehow last season as Nicho improved his long kicking, but this season, its glaring weaknesses are becoming more prominent and difficult to work around.

Haha good timing. The funny thing about the future is its hard to know, but sometimes it's worth taking the chance.

I'm by no means saying it will work, but I'd rather fail trying something new than continue to fail doing the same thing.

Just curious because I haven't been watching him play, but is Daniel Atkinson getting close to NRL level? I know that is blasphemy to the Trindall brigade but like I said, just curious.

Storm had him so they saw something, although I could say they saw something in Brodie Croft too....

Trindall brigade is literally the anything but Moylan brigade

Atkinson went alright today, played fullback.

Haven’t watched him in the halves recently, would say Tricky is more the finished product then Atkinson but who knows - don’t think anyone wouldn’t be against it aslong as Atkinson has a strong kicking game and is crafty

Lad I'm on the record as saying I don't care who the 5/8 is, but there are far bigger issue, sure by all means start there, but doesn't really achieve anything except appeasing the puppets

I'm not gonna get into team selection.

I don't think personnel changes make much difference. Tricky for Moylan only makes sense if we have a fair shake up in how we play on ball & that is unlikely to happen at this stage. It won't fix the fact that if the opposition get a set in our 20 they will score 9/10.

We got pulled outta shape in D nearly every set. Its easy to see the try scored down 1 side & blame those defenders but the other side not getting properly reset drags over the middle next thing your 2nd rower pushing off the post to cover a shift - no hope.

Our D is very concerning. Also our lack of patience with the ball. Also a a lot more I can't be ****ed typing right now.
