Still looks close to the quickest in our team. Although I enjoyed seeing Will run Naden down last night, with ease.

This bloke needs an extended run at centre. Give it to him and I reckon he’ll kill it.
If not we know for 2023 we need to go to the market for one.

In your head, rent free
or, here me out, we put ronaldo there for an extended run with ikavalu on the wing, save money and have an incredible strike centre on our books

I'm all for Ronaldo at centre too .
But , it seems Fitz loves Tracey and he'll get first crack .
Gunna be a REAL interesting year with our depth quality.
Get injured and you may well struggle to get back into the team.

This was the pairing I suggested before the trials but seems we want to go the hard way converting Connor and hoping it works out.

I get the coach wants Tracey in the team and look we all like what Tracey brings and like to see him have a role but is it gunna be worth it when we have a specialist centre/wing sitting in reserve ?

Tracey is a work in progress but it's not like Ikuvalu's a world beater.

Given he was so good for us last year, I'm happy to start Tracey there and see how the combination goes over the first few rounds.

I don't think Ikuvalu would be easy to move out of the side when he gets a chance and there are quite a few in the forwards who will be fighting for spots in a healthy squad.

He was a reserve for Roosters too, being a former Rooster shouldn't be an express ticket into our starting line up. Fitz also knows him better than any of our squad so if he doesn't pick him that should tell you he doesn't deserve to be picked.

Tracey has probably played more NRL centre than the other two combined, they were both lower grade centres but have both been NRL wingers.
I wouldn't think Tracey, who is used to defending 3 in, would be worlds behind them in terms of knowing how to play centre by this stage. He just needs to make sure he puts it into practice.

Main thing is you put the best 2 out of 3 on the field and if Tracey was the one to miss out you probably put him at 14.

I don't mind the idea of Ronnie at centre but i reckon it only works if Trindall is in at 6. Then Connor can be 14. It just doesn't look like playing out that way for a fair while at least

We were calling for Ronaldo at centre last year - Ronaldo and Ikuvalu or Tracey (where he’s played his best for us) is a stronger combo

Again, pretty sure Fitz said Tracey and Ronnie would swap around a bit. Those two still look like the strongest starters

Be interesting to get some insight into who's the quickest in our top squad over 100m whilst carrying the ball.

When I think of who in our team is most likely to go the length to score, Tracey is the first that comes to mind.

Could be way off the mark but it'd be great to know.

far out this guy has a proper red hot crack doesn't he. runs the ball hard and fast and doesn't care about the contact. I found it very hard leaving him out of the 321 as I thought he had a good gutsy involved game. was looking dangerous around the ruck but gets cut down in tackles pretty easily

did alot better and more consistent @ centre than I was expecting, seems the pre-season was real and Fitz intentions were genuine

had our most run metres against the Eels

that wobly low pass he threw for Ronnies try not sure if it was a mispass or he intentionally threw it underneath the defenders outstretched arm haha

missed more tackles than our other backs but relatively more traffic than most of them and hopefully keeps improving

You wouldn't expect passing to be a weak point of his game, but he's butchered a few tries in his time!

Thankfully Ronnie was good enough to get this one.

I thought that maybe the tackler got a slight touch on it. Was never going to be a great pass reGardsless but all's well that ends well.
