Well that's where Fitzgibbon sees him so Gumby's prediction is hardly groundbreaking.

seems really durable and tough

you rarely see him getting up clutching at parts of his body or hobbling around - despite getting pole axed every second carry

loved the little weaving runs he was giving us out of our end then passing to link up with mozza or someone else. teams will have to watch for that

Personally I see him as a 14 and that's it. I don't think he is big, strong or fast enough to make it in the outside backs full time. I thought he could have gotten away a few times on the weekend but was reeled in easily.

I love everything about his effort and as a fill in he has been great. I just hope we can land a better centre and play him off the bench.

He is fast, not big or overly strong though. He is a good utility.

Yeah might have phrased that poorly. He's quick, but for his other attributes I think he would need to be lightning fast to make it there. He made a break or two on the weekend and was run down easy.

He reminds me a bit of Corey Thompson. Allusive and usually beats the first defender - all heart, but unlikely to nail down a spot because of his size.

That's a fair call.

Like others have said, he's a 14 really, that's about it.

I reckon Thompson has a bit more size, and that's saying something.

Gotta remember Tracey spent the off-season training at fullback, spending less time lifting and more time running.

If Fitz does want him to be a centre an off-season in the gym will help enormously.

6ft, which is not overly small in every day terms, but on the field looks like a midget. No idea what he'd weigh but prob around mid 80's on wet day off season in the gym might push him into 90's but may take the elusiveness and some speed out of him.

With the new game being faster he might be a good option at centre but off the players we have he's not the first one that I think about when it comes to partnering with Ramien in the centres.

I still think 14 is best option long term. Especially the way the game is heading with speed etc.

This comes up a lot.. I'm not seeing weight being a problem so far. He tackles everything and runs full pelt into the forwards like he's watched too many Michael Hancock highlight reels. Blayke's apparently 180cm and 80kg and plays 80 minutes at hooker. Works okay for him. If Tracey has the balls and the ability (and he has both on display in spades right now) why does he need to be heavier?

As durable a, I'd take his speed (even if it's only over the first 20 metres) and elusiveness over another 10kg

Need to find a few forwards that run as hard as this bloke. Tracey puts it in every run and fights for quick play the ball every time.

Love his energy and enthusiasm. Plus his handling is so good, few off the laces and charges a high ball. Love it!

how on earth he kept himself in the field of play down the touch line a few times tonight I don't know. seems to have learned from a few weeks ago going to ground early and cutting back in field as soon and as best he can.

I know he's not a specialist winger but he is spending alot of time there this year so it doesn't hurt that he is learning some good winger traits

love how he takes the kicks at near full pace, doing himself and his teammates proud

Yeah few times I yelled at the tv for him to cut back in field. Amazingly he held it together.

Great hands, great speed. Attacks the ball and the high ball.
Developing nicely. Just not sure where he fits in when Katoa is back.
Maybe 14 and Trindall drops out (which I don’t want to see happen either).

I'm happy with that, would rather Trindall be playing 80 minutes of Cup @ 7 than 15mins of NRL at 13ish
Also moves Metcalf back to fullback in Cup, sounds like hes better than the other bloke there (may happen this weekend anyway with Chad playing)
