As i have said from the beginning, if Cronulla forced Souths to play to their style of footy then they will win & that's exactly what happened.
The Sharks have adopted a very dour, gritty game plan which works in your favour & Shane Flanagan has one of the best bench rotations in the game.
I'm still disappointed with the loss but Souths were beaten by the better team today & i for one hope you go all the way.

We had to come out & make a statement which we never did.
I wouldn't have played GI & i think we went in with the wrong tactics but the Sharks forced us to play their game & the rest is history.
Don't ever think you never deserved your victory & i just hope that you can successfully apply the same theory in your next game against the Cowboys.

To be honest, I don't really think there is much difference, if any, between Souths game plan and the Sharks. Bash it up the field using the size of the pack, look for an offload now and then and play high percentage football. Neither team plays what you would call "flashy" football.

The only real difference is Reynolds superior kicking game and Inglis' power running game at the back, when he decides to have a go.
