I can't make it but anyone else who can get there should ask why the general public still cannot buy tickets to Round 1. One of our best and most intelligent posters HB wants to attend but cannot buy a ticket.

Haha what are you after mate??

I know the club had a few issues with Ticketek so I can only assume it's dragged on for longer than expected.

It is a ticketek problem and it has been fixed very recently

Matty, if you are going please mention that the game day info on the website is STILL pointing to our last game of last year. Also, the 'purchase tickets' link is directed to a blank Ticketek page, even though tickets are on sale.

I brought this to the club's attention two weeks ago and was told it would be fixed. It really is amateur hour stiff given our first game is only 1.5 weeks away.

so i cant really go from interstate.
if someone could please ask questions on these issues that would be really appreciated.

and yeah i posted this in the other forum

-whats going on with major sponsor etc. Have negotiations started? when would the club expect to announce such things?
- how are we fairing membership wise in comparison to last season? what is the clubs strategy to improve this beetween now and the start of the season?
- is it still the clubs intention to take a game away from shark park in the future? if so where?
- how do the sharks align with the NRL's stadium policy going into the future. will ground improvements have to be made to keep a minimum standard, what is that standard?
- the club should either maintain the wall of support plaques or take them down, as they look tacky.
- does the club intend to re visit the branding of the team, specifically logo, colours etc?
- how was the deal with newtown more benefitial to cronulla than the proposed deal with wyong? will the club be playing trials at henson park in the future?

Cheers

Lost at sea.

Gorman said they're close to signing a major sponsor but couldn't guarantee it'll be done before Round 1.

A schooner for Everytime I've heard that.

Sometimes I wonder whether this is community consultation or just crowd sourcing ideas.

It's both. Who gives a crap what it is, any sort of consultation with the supporters leading to the betterment of the club is worth the effort.
