a few coaches are over rated and under rated. i think flanno got our team playing some confident entertaining footy for parts last year and the middle of this year but then we seemed to go back to playing ****. carneys form dissappeared. smith bukuya's form dropped off as did robson. i think form of players reflects the coach and hope next year is different. haslers a miracle worker. but an under rated coach is neil henry. he got raiders playing good footy and then the cowboys.

Stuart is a complete dud. Cartwright, Furner, Sheens, overrated.

I dont think furner is overrated. Hes a smart coach with good tactics that is executed porrly most of the time by his squad.

Who in anyone's mind is a good coach? Unless you are winning premierships every year the general opinion is you are ****.

I think Hasler, Bennett, bellemy are all great coaches. Flanno is ok but still has improvement in him.

What surprised me the most about the back end of our season was how we went away from what worked so well for us through the middle rounds especially the 6 win in a row block. What was winning games for us IMO was our ability to keep the pressure on through earning ourselves repeat sets. Carney and robson at one stage were leading the comp by a long way in there ability to role the ball into the in goal and our defence trapping them there resulting in drop outs. It didnt always get us points but it tired oppositions out and more importantly kept them away from our own try line for long periods. For me it felt like a concsious decision to go away from that. ie the coach had a hand in this. I dont think our halves were were unable to perform this play, as there were almost no attempts at it in the latter rounds.. It wasnt pretty but for me it worked a treat and for the life of me i cant understand why we went away from that...

Hasler, Bellamy and Bennett are a cut above.

Maguire, Griffin and Toovey are the next tier.

Really, thats a bit weird, i think my thoughts here are unrefutable. we definatly stoped this play in latter rounds and it was in no question a reason for our dominance in the earlier rounds. where did u post ur thoughts on this?
